(1) In accordance with Section 9, the institutional foreign investors who set up capital investment funds must be registered with the Securities Board for securities transactions.
(2) A foreign investor who is registered with the Securities Board as per sub-section (1) may transact securities through the secondary market of securities of industries that are subject to foreign investment in accordance with this Act.
(3) In accordance with sub-section (2), the minimum number of securities to be purchased, the investment limit, the minimum period to be kept after purchasing the securities, the reserve fund to be kept in foreign currency for the purchase of securities and other related provisions shall be as prescribed.
